Sushi King in Alameda

Just had a damn good poke bowl here for lunch. Surprisingly large portion and very good amount of fish. The fish also was of higher than expected quality (considering its in a market). I would highly recommend this place for a quick, relatively affordable bite.

I tried this place before with my friend and I am hooked since then. I enjoy the fantastic ambience and tasty food and beverages. Keep up the good work.

Delicious sushi at a fair price. Nice selection of ready-made to go items, and expansive menus. I feel like I should have a party JUST to get one of their beautiful platters. I particularly like the poke bowl (I just ask them to make one fresh with no rice to keep the carbs reasonable). I especially appreciate that they have green tea (which not all quick-counter/to-go places offer).

A tucked away sushi joint inside of the Market Place. They provide a full menu and are quick, so very easy for a lunchtime meal.

This is doubtless one of the tastiest restaurants in the neighborhood. Every time I go there I am remarkably pleased. They manage their high level service and the topmost level of food they give. You no doubt will love this place. Warmly recommended.

The peeps here are always so nice to my daughter. Quality of fish is great for the price point. This is our go-to take out.

This was some GOOD sushi! It surprised me that it was inside a grocery store but it was AMAZING! I'd recommend it to anyone. You order and they make it fresh for you--and fast. Great place, amazing sushi!

One of my favorite spots to get sushi in alameda. Very large portions and creative items on the menu. Love their Tiger eye roll and prawn lovers.

This is inside a grocery store but don't let that deter you. This stuff was so GOOD! We heard it was this well kept secret, which is unfortunate because it's absolutely affordable and delicious!

Reliable take-out, although, if you enjoy the bustle of a market place, you may sit and eat at their counter (seats 4) or at the few tables/counters around. The Marketplace also has a small outdoor patio on the side of the parking lot. Depending on the time of the day, parking may be tough. There is a fair size lot but it is full mid-day on. There’s some street parking around.

I visit this spot a lot since I work nearby. I got to say the customer service is always great and they keep the spot clean at all times. Prices are affordable and they serve large portions.

Have sat in and ordered from this place. Rolls are surprisingly less expensive than other rolls in town, and quite delicious. Service wasn't bad either.

2 stars for service. 1 star for the food.

AWFUL customer service. Made me wait to refill soy sauce, and then once I attempted to place order; we're out and I replied ""ok. She then proceeds and says "you came over here FOR ONLY soup".
